I was walking on some rocks along a river with my boyfriend and almost slipped and fell. My boyfriend began to walk closely to keep me from falling, and I said to him, "Can you please give me a little space? I think when you're around it makes me more cautious, and I don't trust myself enough." He laughed at my honesty; I, at a moment of self-awareness.
